Donating to charity is one of our base purposes at Duo Web Solutions, because without it, all this blood, sweat and tears doesn’t mean quite so much.
We can always shell out a few bucks to others can’t we? Skip a latte, a dinner out, a toy the kids don’t really need…. and what do you know, you’ve got 100 bucks to spare!
Here’s a bit of our giving history, I find it fun to track otherwise we forget as time goes on:
January – April 2012
In 2012, we invented a new way to donate to charity. Every employee of Duo logs an hour on their timesheet as “charity.” Then they spend that money on a charity of their choice, it can be anything; give it away to a random person on the street, buy groceries for a person at the store, or donate direct to their own personal charity. Here is what we have done so far this year as a team!
Jaimie got really creative and surprised our client Honda World with live blogging for their Make-A-Wish charity event.
